What's this - a murder mystery in the church?

Well, yes and no. Yes, there will be a murder mystery; but no, not in the church but in the Village Hall. See here for details.

Sunday Tea Time services

These services are designed for families, especially those with young children. They are very popular. Their dates can be found here.

St Mary’s – Sunday Time Afternoon Teas

St Mary’s Summer Time Teas have started for the summer 2017 season.  Well done and thank you to all those many who have contributed in any way:  making cakes, serving the teas or consuming both! We have an amazing team of volunteers and we are always looking for more to serve or make cakes. If you are willing to offer time or bake a cake, all on a rota basis, then please contact Vanessa Dowse (01730 710459) or Lynne Ashcroft (01730 231709).

Exploring Christianity

Petersfield Deanery is continuing an exciting new course designed to teach us more about our shared Christian faith and to deepen that faith. The third term will take place in Liphook. It is quite a big commitment but will be very good for our growing together in faith and love. You do not need to commit to the whole course.  More details and an application form can be found here.

Who can attend? Anyone who wants to. You don’t have to have done the Bishop’s Foundation course, or any other training.

How long is the course? The full course is 2 years, with 6 modules of about 10 sessions.

Do I have to do the whole course? NO. Each module will be advertised separately, and you can pick the modules which interest you, or do the whole course.

What does it cost? Thanks to the support of the diocese, we can offer the course at £15 for each module. There is a support fund if people cannot afford it.

Do I have to do the written assignments? No, they are optional, but it is important to do the preparation work before each session.

If you think you may be interested in doing this please contact Judith for a brochure and booking form.

You might recognise one or two of these characters (not showing anything like the appropriate deference).  Quite a visit!
